Delisa Rodgers is a distinguished apostle and prophet with a rich history of pastoral leadership. She founded The Love Church Charlotte after serving as the senior pastor of True Love Church of Refuge for thirteen years. Her church has become a prominent apostolic and prophetic training center in Charlotte, offering discipleship and equipping for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Delisa holds various leadership roles, including President and Senior Instructor of The Love Church Apostolic College and visionary behind Soteria Prophetic Ministries. She is also involved in business ventures like Liberty River Industries, LLC and Barbara's Lighthouse Resource Center. Delisa is known for her teaching and shepherding within the Body of Christ. She is passionate about apostolic and prophetic ministry, empowering countless believers in their spiritual journey. Delisa is also an accomplished writer with eleven published books, and she helps aspiring authors publish their works.
Beyond her local ministry, Delisa travels extensively to share the Gospel of the Kingdom. She serves as a spiritual mentor and support system for those seeking deliverance, liberation from generational curses, and freedom from religious constraints.
Delisa holds academic degrees in theology, school administration, and Human Service Studies and is committed to mental health advocacy. She is a member of various organizations, including the National Association of Christian Counselors and NAMI. Delisa also works in the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools system, serving as the Manager of Alternative Education and supporting students involved in challenging behaviors.
Despite her demanding career, Delisa remains dedicated to ministry and accountability, receiving mentorship from respected spiritual leaders and is humbly submitted to the mentorship of Apostles Theadford and Ernestine Brinkley, Deliverance Tabernacle of Praise, Rocky Mount, NC, and to the fatherhood and apostleship of the 'General' of Deliverance, Apostle Ivory L. Hopkins, Pilgrim's Ministry of Deliverance in Harbeson, Delaware.
Apostle Dr. Delisa has been blessed to raise five beautiful children who support her in the work of ministry: Ashlynn, Adrian, Clyde, Darius, and Joy.
